Dr Laura Cullen graduated from Imperial College Medical School, London in 2004, with a First Class Honours degree. She has had extensive training in a number of medical rotations within London, both at St Mary's Hospital and The Hammersmith Hospital, where she undertook training in Cardiology, Renal Medicine, Acute Medicine and Diabetology.

Dr Cullen later joined the Barnet GP training scheme, gaining experience in the care of children and women's health. She went on the complete her nMRCGP and became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She was susbequently awareded a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, after taking a keen interest in women's health.

As a result, Dr Cullen's special areas of interest include the management and care of patients with diabetes, chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. She also enjoys undertaking well woman and well man health checks, and is fully proficient in providing gynaecological advise and treatment. Dr Cullen also has a wealth of expertise in caring for children, chronic disease and mental health management.

She has published a number of Medical Education textbooks in her spare time and currently enjoys writing for the British Medical Journal in her spare time.

Dr Cullen currently divides her time between working as a GP partner at a busy NHS practice in Hampstead Garden Suburb, North London, as well as committing herself to seeing private patients at St John and St Elizabeth Hospital in St John's Wood. This allows Dr Cullen to see her private patients in a modern and well equiped environment, where facilities are at the forefront of medical technology. She works closely with private specialists at St John and St Elizabeth Hospital to ensure swift referral on site if required.

Dr Cullen is described as a very warm, caring approachable, holistic and thorough Doctor, who very much provides a very personal approach to the care of her patients.
